Movie Reviews of The Christmas Shoes

Movie Review: Heart Warming, Even For The Toughest Among Us
Summary: 5 Stars

I had heard the song on the radio at my Mother's house and thought it was one of the best songs I'd ever heard, and I'm NOT a country fan. When I saw the previews for the movie I knew I had to watch it. My Mother and I made a night of it. It was the most touching movie I had ever seen. I can not say enough good things about this movie. Rob Lowe put on a stunning performance as did the rest of the cast. We felt the little boys pain, and also the pain of the woman with cancer and the grieving husband. If you don't ever see another holiday movie ever again, watch this one. You'll keep it in your heart forever.

Movie Review: The Christmas Shoes Prove What Christmas Is All About
Summary: 5 Stars

I remember seeing this movie when it first aired and have frantically tried to find it and finally it is on DVD. I first heard this story as the song sung by Newsong and couldnt help but cry each time I heard it and I still do. I then read the book and saew the movie with the same result. This movie really hit me because we all seem to take this holiday for granted and this shows how a child was able to find the true meaning of christmas by getting his mom shoes to look beautifull in heaven. Such a simple thing always tugs at my heart. I highly recomemnd this for anyone who loves a heartworming tale.

Movie Review: Christmas movie
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased the movie The Christmas Shoes. I searched last year and finally gave up because nobody had it. I wanted to buy it because I didn't want to sit through hundreds of commercials to see it on TV. The movie was a real heart warming one. I cried all the way through it. Rob Lowe is so good in it and so is Kimberly Williams-Paisley. I recommend The Christmas Shoes to everybody. It will really make you realize the importance of family and the little things in life. Money isn't everything and neither is working all the time.

Movie Review: Christmas Shoes
Summary: 5 Stars

Christmas Shoes is one of the most moving stories of a modern Christmas. I am so moved by it that I bought the movie to watch every year. This year our church choir did a production of the play. I went to see another production of the same play, watched the movie with some friends, read the book, and read the other two books in the series about the little boy in the first book. That is how much the story means to me. It really helps us remember how we should put the people in our lives ahead of things, and jobs.

Movie Review: Back to the basics...
Summary: 5 Stars

How refreshing, in this day of carnality, to come across a movie that lacks the crassness so prevelant in today's society!
This production takes us back to traditional family values -- back to the basics. We come away feeling that our cups have been filled and are brimming over... our hearts are warmed, our spirits elated!
I highly recommend this film for anyone who treasures good, old- fashioned families and what they're really all about!
"The Christmas Shoes" is love in its purest form.
