Movie Review: The Celestine Prophecy
Summary: 5 Stars
The film had a very good cast, however a lot was left out from the book and almost made it seem unrealistic. Very suspenseful with not much plot. Sure the Celestine is up there with the Da Vinci Code and all the lost relic stories, but I feel it was too short to actually make a difference.
I love the book and those that followed, but to purchase a sequel....I'm not to sure.

Its been a long time since I read the book and it was great to see that the film is such a true rendition of the book and in ways more enlightening with the clever imagery. It is exactly what it is meant to be and that is insightful. I first saw this movie in Celebration Florida and met one of the actors.
This movie follows the book 'Very Well' and is BEAUTIFULLY produced with special effects & a story line that is intriguing. This movie made me want to visit Peru and see the beauty of the landscape & find my own adventures. After seeing the movie.. I had to own it.. I watch it over and over.

The film is wonderful in that it breaks down spiritual principles through the experiences of the characters. So far, it has been best at doing this. In my opinion this film is a must see for anyone who a spiritual student or searching for answers to some of life's questions. I think it was done well and the characters were perfect for each role.
