Movie Review: I thought reviews were supposed to be non-partial!?

Wow. I've always been very pleased with Amazon. But Amazon unfortunately allowed a very angry man to review this movie. That's too bad.
The Care Bears Movie was something that I first watched when I was around 4-5 years old. I remember absolutely loving the Care Bears. As I grew up, the Care Bears popularity has waxed and waned, but I've always had a soft spot for the bears and their cousins. When I saw this movie in DVD, I had to have it. It was as sweet and happy as I remember. There are a few goofs in the animation (Bears being in places they shouldnt be, Bears being the wrong color, and my personal favorite is the animators seem to have problem with eyes! Alot of characters spend a few frames with crossed eyes, which is hysterical!), it's still a good movie. It teaches nice lessons for children.
The cartoons that children have to watch seem to teach children it's ok to be stupid, rather than teaching them to be caring, loving, honest, and multiple other IMPORTANT life lessons. I highly recommend not only the Care Bears Movie, but all of the Care Bears shows.

After reading the negative and positive reviews, I understand now how unfair the editorial department from amazon were with this movie.
I watched it young, I watched it old, and I will have my daughter watch it too! If in any case she needs me, I will be there for any advise and guidance.
80s animations(cartoons) are almost unbeatable. Plots were more interesting and far less anoying. Music was really good too. Tv shows were not as well animated, but the movies, and openings really rocked.
The Care bears movie is a good example of superb animation, plot and music. It is also a movie that takes kids seriously! I grew up with all these good messages from the past, and plots that made you think!
Being a Christian Roman Catholic I can say that the message is inline with what I believe.
I highly recommend this movie as a must watch for today's kids that only have bad tv shows to watch today.
Movie Review: This movie helped me as a teenager

When I was 13 I was depressed. When I saw this film, I realized I was holding my sadness inside which is what Tenderheart sings to the two orphans not to do, and I realized that I promised myself when I was younger I wouldn't do that.
Also, I saw that I was becoming exactly like Nicholas, that I was becoming a bully myself because I felt isolated. I'm now fine, and taking medication for my depression. It's interesting, most people don't belive me when I say this film helped me realize I was going down a bad path when I was a teen. It happens to be true, that the messages in this film really are important and transcend time. That being in a downward spiral, is very much like how Nicholas wasn't able to close the evil magic book. I wish there were more intelligent writers out there, like the people who wrote this film.

I remember watching this with my children when it first came out on VHS format. They both loved it and watched it all the time. It was their favorite movie until they discovered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now that my children are gown, I have discovered the movie in DVD and have given it to my granddaughter. She absolutely loves it and drives her mother (my daughter) as crazy wanting to watch it again and again, as she did when she was little. I highly recommend this movie for the younger aged children maybe 3-6 years old. It's entertaining for children and has a wonderful story with a great moral at the end. Adults may get bored quite easily, but the time spent sharing the movie with your children will be priceless. You can't go wrong with this movie if you want to spend a lazy, rainy afternoon with your kids.Movie Review: By far the best series of the 80's!

The Care Bears tought myself (and alot of others) to always love and to care about the underdog, and how to be a better child. This series is by far THE BEST to ever come out of the eighties, with the Popples in a far second (although I love them too) I'm getting this movie for the children that I know in my life, as this is a heck of alot better than the Spongebob garbage (adult humor for kids) on tv now!
