GOOD OL 70'S HORROR FLICK- I REMEMBER AT THE DRIVE IN WHERE I FIRST SAW THIS MOVIE PEOPLE WERE HONKING THEIR HORNS WHEN THE CAR WOULD KILL! NO B.S. COMPUTER ANIMI IN THIS ONE-- THEY ALSO KEEP THE BLOOD AND THE GORE OUT- THATS CLASS-- SOMETHING THE NEW GENERATION MOVIE/PEOPLE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT-- I LENT "THE CAR" TO THIS 22 YEAR OLD KID I WORK WITH AND HE SAID IT IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE'S HE HAS EVER SEEN-

I loved this film when I was a kid. I was already a fan of James Brolin from his work on Marcus Welby MD, and a film he did called
West World which was also cool. The color was great, the sound was great as well. brought back a lot of great memories,I was 13 life was GOOD.By it u won't b dissapointed.

Movie Review: The Car That Wouldn't Die

Fairly entertaining movie with a younger James Brolin in which he plays a sheriff in a small town being terrorized by a "devil" car with an unseen driver. This car just keeps regenerating itself and mows down everyone in its path. Good action and acting from Brolin and the supporting cast.

Movie Review: No 5.1
Summary: 4 Stars

Great movie and universial did a fantastic job on the picture quality but my only complaint is they did not mix the audio in 5.1.If you have never seen this movie please get it.
