Movie Reviews of The Bridge at Remagen

Movie Review: Its one of the best WW2 movies.
Summary: 4 Stars

It seems like a typical war movie at first where the GIs guns get hot shooting bad "ole Nazi's like flys". It seems like it at first, but then it develops. Its not to be taken too seriously. It has a good cast and fast action sequences with plenty of twists. Its set in the end of the war where the US army races toward a bridge to entrap whats left of the german army. It has some truth in it and thats what make it work. I wish more movies were made like this. Its very watchable.

Movie Review: Suprised
Summary: 4 Stars

I got this movie at a pretty good price on DVD and didn't expect much. I must say that I was really suprised having known nothing about it that I enjoyed every bit of it. The action was tight and realistic and the acting was very good all the way around. Ben Gazarra and George Segal top off a very good cast of characters who all do a very good job. This is a good, entertaining war movie and an excellent companion piece for A Bridge Too Far.

Movie Review: Pleasantly surprised!
Summary: 4 Stars

It seemed I remembered this movie as nothing special, but hey, I got it cheap. Well, it turned out my memory is not that good. The film has about as much continuous action as you could ask for in a war movie, and it's all well acted and produced. It doesn't have the character development of the greatest war movies, but it is certainly more enjoyable than most!

Movie Review: not have engish closed captioned!
Summary: 4 Stars

what you think that only spanish and french closed captioned in america? that so absurd. i am not spanish or french guy. you got that! i am engish. i am live in america. what if you are america deaf guy and what you will say about yourself? huh mmm let me kow. thanks! here is my e=mail is crs1935@yahoo.com

Movie Review: Based on actual event
Summary: 4 Stars

Although an actioneer, the movie sticks pretty close to the historical facts concerning the taking of the Remagen Bridge. Action fans will love all the tanks, jeeps and machine guns; but what sets the movie apart from being routine is the character development of both the American and German soldiers.
