Movie Review: An excellent screenplay with a comparable soundtrack

Couldn't wait to get this DVD for my collection. I loved this movie the first time I saw it, and this new release only improves on a classic movie. I truly enjoyed the added DVD extras which take the viewer behind the scenes of some great actor/actresses in their early years. In updating my movie collection from tapes to DVD's, I bought "The Big Chill" and loved watching the film all over again, this time with sharper, clearer pictures. I also enjoyed the extra features with the remarks from the actors about making the film. What a picnic it must have been! An amazing bunch of talent! Enjoyed this ensemble cast with different personalities, yet all fit well together. Fantastic, fun to watch, and a joy to listen to. The only thing I wish is that during the special features, it spoke of a college Thanksgiving dinner that was eventually deleted, I think I would have really enjoyed watching it. rasMovie Review: Great fun!

I did and cried like a baby when I saw the stitches on the wrist!
Had my best friend commit suicide in 1978 and it nearly killed me!
The film brought back many memories.

I've grown in and out and up and around the Big Chill over the last 20 years, but I get a craving to watch it every so often. I love the family the friends have made, the sound bites, and the music.We have worn out our video tape, so while watching it today I figured it's time to buy a DVD.
