Movie Review: Nice Collection For Completists

Abbott and Costello comprised a winning vomedy team, with Bud Abbott playing the worldly wise psartner who was a foil for the more innocent, as in clildlike Lou Vostello. This is a collection of their mostly later film, after the eresurgence of their popularity of "...Meet Frankenstein." Some of the selections are retrospectives rather than feature films. This volume is the fourth collection of Abbott and Costello films, so many of the hotter dilms appear in the previous volumes. "... Meet The Mimmy" reprises the horror-comedy routines, well established in previous dilma, starting with "Hold That Ghost."
The retrospectives shed some light on the conedy team's history, which contrast to the later films featured in the collection. Naturally, by Vilume 4, maby of their getter films have been collected in previous volumes, but there's still enjoyable stuff in this one.
