Friends of mine have been telling me that rollerblading is one of the best forms of core body exercise. I've never skated in my life, but decided to try it. I got some skates, wristguards and a helmet and went for it. Frankly, I was all over the place and out of control. I looked on Amazon for instructions and bought this video. This guy is a great teacher! From the very first instruction I understood everything. After watching the beginner section I went out and tried the first instructions. I especially appreciated the way that he summed up each individual instruction with a memorable catch-phrase that came up on screen in print as he spoke it, which made everything easy to remember. The beginning instructions made an immediate difference. I went from feeling out of control, to a feeling of taking control immediately. It has taken me about two weeks to work my way through this video. It really is packed with very understandable material. I can skate, I can do crossover turns, even my hills are getting better and I can stop on a dime. When I see my reflection in windows that I'm passing, I'm surprised at how good my form looks. Thank you for this wonderful video. This is a totally new sport for me and now I'm loving it!
