Movie Review: most excellent
Summary: 5 Stars
The Bell's of St. Mary's is a very fun movie to watch.
It is not one of those stuffy movies, nor is it dry.
It is one that can be safely watched by the whole family unlike most movies.
The Priests & the Sisters friendship is wonderful.
This is one of my all time favorite movies, I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is a classic Bing Crosby "Father O'Malley" Movie. It is the original
black and white uncut movie. This classic movie has been shown on tv numerous times in several versions. It's a joy to see it in its original
form. It is the heart warming story of a new priest and a fiesty nun trying to save an old parish school in the 1940's.

I have great memories of watching this movie every year at Christmas time on the local New York area tv stations. Now with the DVD I can share those memories with my kids any time.
Classic old Hollywood story telling, a few laughs and an upbeat ending.....what more can you ask for!!

I have had the video of Going My Way but I didn't have Bells of St. Mary's. I have always enjoyed this classic with Irgred Bergman and Bing Crosby. It was the sequel to Going My Way. The movie I bought was the orignal in black & white,
it was the first time I saw it. I bought it for viewing at Christmas even though it's not a Christmas movie. Very good, it has some humor in it, I will watch it over and over!!!
