Movie Review: Hot and sexy and still a thriller
Summary: 5 Stars
I am a Johnny fan, but not all his movies thrill me. This one left me guessing at first and I thought was a pretty decent sci fi movie. The ending could have been a tad better. The love scene was just plain hot and any Depp fan would be thrilled to watch the movie just for that.
I thought the acting was decent, but I can see where this movie is a love em or hate em type. I guess I am a love em, as I have watched it more than once.

Despite all of the bad reviews this movie has seen, it IS an excellent film. The acting is very well-done (by ALL cast members). Every actor took on the role in their own realistic way. One of my favorite indie actresses, Clea DuVall, is in this as well and does a really good job! I really like this film. This film is slow and deliberate. Johnny Depp is such an interesting actor you become immersed in the film just on the performance of his character. This is by far not the best science fiction movie that I have seen, it has a great love scene in it and the ending is a surprise. Johnny Depp is just pretty to look at in any movie that he is in.
