Movie Reviews of The Air I Breathe

Movie Review: great movie
Summary: 4 Stars

I thought this movie was really good. It has a brilliant concept and the actors gave stellar performances. Andy Garcia was very scary. We've never seen Brendan Fraser in a role such as this. Sarah Michelle Gellar made you really feel the Sorrow in her character in this movie, one of her two that will be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival. It seemed like each emotion, had its own little movie, like a short story, yet at the same time they all tied together to make one whole movie.

This is not a movie that would do well at the box-office, but it is still a great movie.

Movie Review: SOMETIMES IT'S WORTH IT TO STEP OUT SIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE!......SOMETIMES IT'S NOT!
Summary: 4 Stars

This is an interesting film in the 'Crash' vein where four parts mesh together to make up the whole. It's nice to see Brendan Fraser in a decent film again and despite some harsh criticism, this film is very good! The center theme of this film is each of the main characters step outside their normal routine and have mixed results. It's a thought provoking film, that raises a lot of questions about life. Is it better to be safe or live on the edge. I found this film to be better after I thought about it for a while. I like that when a film can do that to me!

Movie Review: Very intirguing movie. Nice piece of celluloid.
Summary: 4 Stars

The stellar cast by itself would be enough to spice one's curiosity. Come on, Fraser, Garcia, Gellar, Whitaker, Bacon, Delpy, Hirsch... It's unresistible.

But, as the saying goes, the road to hell is full of good intentions, and this low-budget project could be a catastrophe. But it is not. The movie is farily good, captivating. All the actors involved give solid performances, no matter how much screen time they got.

Good movie.

Movie Review: Solid film with great performances
Summary: 4 Stars

I saw this film in its unfortunately brief theatrical run in LA early in 2008. Though it's sometimes rough around the edges, the movie looks amazing and has really solid performances all the way around. This MIGHT be Brendan Fraser's best performance, at least the equal of what he did in "Gods and Monsters." The love story between he and Sarah Michelle Gellar is the heart of the film, and it would have been great to see more of it.

Movie Review: Disturbing
Summary: 4 Stars

I've seen reviews of people who do not like this movie. I can understand them. But I liked the " bizzare " aspect of it and the way it was filmed. The circumvolution of the scenario. For people who don't need cars that explode and couples who fall in love to the excess and too much passion, it's a good movie you should enjoy. Casting is quite exceptional too.
