This is one of the truly classic Disney cartoons. I watched this when I was young and even had the 45 record with the music from "Ichabod". The animation is great. Although I love both stories, "Ichabod" or the Legend of Sleepy Hollow is my favorite of the two. Both my kids grew up watching it and I just bought a copy for my niece who's just 7. It may be a little scary for very young kids but it should be fine for kids 5 & over. More importantly, there are laugh out loud portions of the movie that still get me, and yes, my grown kids and I make a point of watching it every year at Halloween!

great classic disney movie! We bought this for Halloween this year for our kids and they enjoyed it as much as I did as a kid. This is a great movie. I bought it for my two-year old daughter. I was nervous that it would be to spooky for her but she just loves it. She wants to watch the Legend of Sleepy Hollow every day. She constantly says "spooky, spooky" whenever she wants to see it. The songs are very creative and enjoyable too! There are also some great bonus features on the DVD as well. There are a couple of short Disney movies on it.
