Movie Review: Deserved A Longer Run
Summary: 5 Stars
With this, the final volume, we bid farewell to the Addams Family. The regulars play their parts to perfection, right up to the end. It's just strange how this and rival show "The Munsters" were yanked off the air without explanation, despite the fact that both shows had respectable ratings. In these final 21 episodes, everyone seems to be bitten by the love bug: Pugsely, Wednesday, Uncle Fester, Lurch and Ophelia. My favorite episode on this set is probably "Happy Birthday Grandma Frump" featuring another great guest spot by Margaret Hamilton, portraying some good comedic skills. Aside from some more Cousin Itt and Thing scene commentaries, another commentary by Stephen Cox and another tombstone trivia, some more features would be welcome on this set, but I digress. Add this set to your collection and you will have a humorous time watching these episodes.
