Movie Review: Fantastic. Wish more movies were of this caliber.
Summary: 5 Stars
First of all, leave it to Leonard Maltin to misjudge another movie. I don't know why it still surprises me sometimes.This movie has all the style and story which makes me want to watch it again and again. Sparks really fly between Gibson and Pfieffer. The supporting cast is excellent. My favorite of whom is of course Raul Julia. Fantastic.
The story is a little confusing the first time through. But this is irrelevant on further viewings.
I highly recommend this to purchace. You will never grow tired of it.
Movie Review: Soundtrack Master - Mr. Dave Gruisin

Forget about the great movie for now and let's give credit to the great soundtrack that gives the movie its stylish southern California flair. I'm not referring to the rock and pop tracks but to the background music and the Dave Gruisin song on the soundtrack called "Jo Ann's Song". This was the track played during the steamy hot tub scene and added to the overall sensuality of the movie. Great sax riffs by David Sanborn! That song remains number one on my list of seduction tunes...Movie Review: Love this old movie of Mel at hs most gorgeous!

Could not be happier to have acquired this DVD of Mel & Michelle Pfeiffer in love...Mel is at his finest as a reformed drug dealer and lover...a true love story in which Mel makes your heart melt with his "blue" eyes and his famous line...."just looking at you hurts me more"
A fine pairing of actors, including Kurt Russell!
The heck with the plot and some sillies! I love Mel in this DVD!

I loved this movie. If you like Kurt Russell, you'll love this movie. If you like Lethal Weapon, you'll like it. Not because of Mel Gibson, but rather because of the feel-good, yet crime/cop effect it has is similar to Lethal Weapon. The hot tub scene is hot, and there is sufficient action/excitement (not even comparable to Lethal Weapon's level of action).Movie Review: BEST MOVIE EVER
