Movie Review: Miss Direction Stan
Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is great. For one, there is no clear cut good or bad guy. To be honest I believe the reason I like this movie is because I identify with some of the thoughts portrayed by John Travolta's character. With terrorism on everyones mind, Swordfish gives an aggressive response to would be terrorists and those who wish to do harm to America and our interests. To often we trade security for sheer diplomacy, this film shows another way. The acting is great, and panning special effects are stunning. Only thing i have to say is MUST HAVE, MUST SEE, LOTS OF ACTION!!! I saw previouse of this movie and to tell you the truth it didn't really interest me, until i heard other people talking about it... so I decided to buy it and i was glad i did! The story is great and different than other films are that have to do with high jacking and etc. A great movie with an outstanding cast including john Travolta, Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman and more. Swordfish starts out good and keeps you all the way until the end glued to your seat. This movie does not depict Travolta as a villain. He is our shadow government's answer to terrorism in the world. He and his team specialize in attacking terrorists that threaten American liberties in the world at large. That Travolta's character has to resort to extraordinary means to obtain the tools and money his commission requires is logical and necessary since no government or private individuals can publically and legally support such actions. The justification of "harming a few, to protect the many" is the theme of the movie, in case anyone missed it!Movie Review: Good Cliched Flick

There has been many people that add the fact that there are parts that are completely unnecessarily (scene with Hally Barry anyone?) and some that are very cliche.
Personally, I believe this to be true. But that adds to the charm of this movie. It's always changing, and never the same. Without spoiling any of the plot (to do that would be a waste of a great movie) some parts could of been done better, with a bit more editting, but overall, I would recommend this to anyone that is open minded and wants a good deep movie and not just another action movie.
