Movie Review: The Trautmans are true "teachers" of dance.

I've reviewed many "dance lesson" DVDs and videos made by professional dancers but they don't come close to the quality and depth of Shawn Trautman's. Their DVDs are well made,( proper lighting, excellent audio, multiple views of the footwork, they zoom in on important technical points). The instruction is clear and the lessons are taught at the perfect pace. It's like having the instructors right there in your home. They speak in detail to both the lead's role and the follower's. They stand and dance as you will while watching and practicing(not facing you so that you have to look over your shoulder while following the moves).

Beginners Volume 1 offers the easiest and most thorough instruction for anyone wanting to learn both Single-Time Swing and East Coast Swing, the two most popular versions of Swing dancing. Each volume is professional, easy to follow, designed for beginners and fun for everyone. With nearly 1? hours of instruction and multiple camera views, Shawn and Joanna Trautman will build your confidence and have you dancing along with them - literally.
