Movie Review: heart warming, and a love story.
Summary: 4 Stars

What i thought of the movie was it was a intresting movie and if you like a love story and a young lady help her father with family problems. And this movie might intrest you a little more to you then me, but overall it was great movie. This movie also talks abult how a young lady who was becoming a women who wanted a Quencenera, but can't because the family is poor. And someone who want this movie is a spanish teacher.

this movie was ok. i thought it would have more about her sweet 15. But it was mostly about having boyfriends, and how to be responsible. in the beginning she wasn't really responsible but near the end she became responsible. Marta's dad said that she didn't belong in the family but then at the end he found out that she did. i loved that!!!

Movie Review: Great movie for class
Summary: 4 Stars

I showed this movie in my Spanish 2 class. Although it is a bit old -- 80s clothes and hair! -- they still enjoyed it. It also really made them think about immigration. We also talked about the importance of the quinceañera in the life of a young latina woman.
