Movie Review: great

The name of the movie I watched was Sweet 15. The main characters of this movie are Marta, Ramon, Senor de la cruz, and Senora de la cruz. I watched this movie because we were in learning about quinceaneras in spanish class and it had to do with our lesson. This movie mainly has to deal with immigration, quinceanera and responsibility. I liked the part where Marta and her cousin danced because it was funny since he couldn't dance. My favorite part of the movie was when Marta got her surprise quince because i think she deserved it after she helped so much with her father. There isn't a part that I didn't like. Yes I would recommend this video to others because I think this was a really good movie and if you like drama and learning about some of the difficulties hispanic had then you would like this movie.Movie Review: wonderful

I watched this movie in Spanish class because we were learning about a Quincea?era. Some major themes brought up in the movie were immigration, family, Responsibility, and a Quincea?era. My favorite part about the movie was when they talked about a lot of things not only a sweet 15. They talked about a lot of other stuff. I learned some new things. My favorite part was when she spilled the milk out to go get more so she could see Ramon and she came back and forgot the milk. What I didn't like about the movie was when Marta's dad kept seeing her everywhere and she kept getting caught. He wouldn't let her grow up. I would recommend this video to others because it's very interesting and you can learn about there Quincea?era and their traditions.

My spanish class and i watched Sweet 15, a movie that shows a girl named Marta De la Cruz wanting a quinceanera for her 15th birthday. Throughout the movie, Marta gets involved with a boy named Ramon which her father doesn't like and he becomes over protective.
This movie consists of trust, loyalty, and tradition. I liked that everyone in the movie could act well and dance well. I liked that Marta decided to help her father with his personal problems. This showed that she really cared about her family. I didn't like that Ramon tried to keep Marta with him when her father was calling her, this shows disloyalty. This movie is very touching and I would recommend this video to spanish students. This movie is a great way to show a spanish class how a quinceanera is done.
Movie Review: an exciting yet educational movie

We watched this movie in spanish class because we were learning about spanish traditions. It was a great movie and exciting movie to watch durning sapnis. The three major topics were immigration, Martas qunceanera, and Mr. De la Cruz's problem. What I liked about this movie was the ending because it was very unexpected. I would have never have been able to prodict that ending.
My favorite part of the movie was when Marta tried to help her father solve his problem. It was very touching, nice, and took a lot of guts to do. I didn't like that Martas father yelled at her for trying to help him solve his problem. I would recommend this video to any teacher or family because it teaches you to stick with what you have.

Movie Review: Film quite appropriate for classrooms

I first saw this movie in middle school and then again in high school. I enjoyed it very much, and had a hard time finding it. It's pretty expensive, but good luck finding it anywhere else. Anyway, I think this film is very good to show in schools, so that kids from non-Latino cultures can become more familiar with the Latin-American/Chicano culture. Students can get a glimpse of what Latinos hold valuable, and learn about the struggles they suffer, most notably the issue of immigration, by watching this movie. It's pretty entertaining as well. As for the product itself, for some reason it only worked on one of my DVD players. I don't know why, but hopefully it's just my DVD player that has trouble. Other than that, I strongly recommend this product.
