Movie Review: FANTASTICO!
Summary: 5 Stars

I watched this movie in Spanidh class. We watched this movie because we were learning about Quinccenera's .Some of the topic's tha were brought up in the movie were Immigration , love friendship ,and Responsibility.I like when Ramon was trying to learn how yo read and write , and when Marta helped out her father out.The part i hought was sad was when marta was told something unfortunate about her Quince .Also when Ramon was standing on the wall and the and the cop thought that he wanted to work thereand ramon got relly upset.

I didn't like it how Marta's father was always mean to her when she tried to help him out .I would recommend this to other people especially teachers , but I thought this was a really good movie, and i think other prople should see this movie , because i thought it touched my heart by how much Marta's family love each other so much and how the whole community help out in the end!

Movie Review: una pelicula carinosa y comica
Summary: 5 Stars

I watched this movie for Spanish class because we were learning about a Mexican celebration called a Quinceanera. What I liked about the movie was that it is like real life problems. The actors didn't seem like they were reading right off a piece of paper. They had real emotions. Also the things Marta did seemed like real things that girls her age would do. My favorite part out of the whole movie was when Ramon did something very special for Marta at the very end. It was very touching. I didn't like that Ramon would just yell at Marta for any reason then is her friend again the next few minutes. Also it wasn't our style; it was a different style because the movie was done in 1990 so it makes it a little different. I still enjoyed the movie. I would recommend this movie to a Spanish class or families that want to learn about are learning about the Mexican culture.

Movie Review: a movie about trust and excitement
Summary: 5 Stars

I watched the movie sweet 15 in spanish class because we were learning about different spanish triditions. It was a really good movie, I liked it alot. Three major themes in that were brought out in this movie were love, money, and immigration. The things I liked about this movie is how Marta wanted her father's trust back so she trys to help him with his situation. I also like it because its basically about having trust and loving someone special. My favorite part is when Marta finds out about her father's issue and tries to help fix it. I didn't like that marta couldn't have her dream party and Jackie told everyone Marta's uncle died. I would recommend this movie to teachers and girls that want to plan a quince because you can learn a lot with it. Also because the movie is very interesting.
i liked this movie alot.

Movie Review: Spectacular
Summary: 5 Stars

I watched "Sweet 15" for spanish class because it had many major elements that we have been or will be discussing in spanish I. Some of the themes that were brought in the movie are immigration, adulthood, family and a quinceneara.
What I liked about this movie is the storyline. It had an excellent moral that all adolescents should know about. It particulary gave good information on how to deal with family matter. My favorite part was when Marta gathered up all of her courage to fix her father's porblem. It was very touching and showed that Marta had character.
I would definitely recommend this video to other Spanish I classes. It teaches students a good lesson about family and goes along with their curriculem. Over all, the movie was spectacular.

Movie Review: excellent, yet educational
Summary: 5 Stars

I watched this movie because we are learning about Mexican fiestas in Spanish class. Some of the themes that were brought out in the movie are immigration, love, and responsibility. I liked the movie because there was great acting, it taught me many things, and the story line was great. My favorite part of the story is when Martha helps her father through a great struggle because it was touching. I would recommend this video for kids in other Spanish classes but not for a movie to watch for fun. Review by:autb
