Movie Review: Not Your Usual Sci Fi Film
Summary: 5 Stars
Were it not for the moving and brilliant "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" then this surely would rank as my favourite film of 2007. Although borrowing from films such as 2001 and Event Horizon, Sunshine expands these ideas and forms it's own originality and mood. Great acting and music and a thinking persons script. The ending will surely alienate some viewers but will enthrall those looking for something deeper than the the typical messages found in a Jerry Bruckheimer/Michael Bay film. This movie will only appeal to a small audience. It's not what you're looking for if you want to see a good space thriller with intense special effects and bloody fights. Granted, it IS a space thriller with intense special effects and bloody fights, but it's only run-of-the-mill as far as the genre goes. "Sunshine" is best viewed as a spiritual drama told through the sci-fi medium, and it's good at that. But if you don't want to wade through the explosions and the gore to get to the religious themes, this is also not the movie for you.Movie Review: The best sci-fi thriller since ALIENS

SUNSHINE is another excellent film from director Danny Boyle, which is as exciting as it is visually arresting. Almost every shot in the film looks like it could be a beautiful painting. SUNHINE is also a very intense "edge of your seat" type of thriller. It borrows a lot of elements from the first Alien movie and Boyle's influence is very apparent if you are familiar with his previous film 28 DAYS LATER. I would highly recommend SUNSHINE to anyone who wants an intelligent and exciting cinematic experience to add to their library.Movie Review: Fast and Great Movie

This movie is one of my top favorite movies of all time. It has a riveting story that is highly believable and grasps you in from the moment you start the movie. The acting is excellent, and it all around is an excellent movie.
I have to say I am very pleased with how fast I got this movie from when I ordered and to the fact that it came in exactly the box shown, and in perfect condition. I recommend buying this movie, it is a great deal, great shipping, and a fantastic movie.
Movie Review: WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?

I loved this movie. There are a few people who thought this was a lousy flick. I was amazed at the whole rather drab and dark feeling that was incased. Kinda Dark City/Apocalypse Now in Space.
There were times in the movie that were visually unclear, and it pissed me off. But as a whole, this was a fantastic movie with a great plot. You put yourself on that ship and feel all the character's emotions.
For those of you that don't like it, go watch Lost in Space.
