Movie Review: Comedy Goers...

If you're a John Candy fan as I am and you haven't seen this one, you simply have to. This is definitely one of his best outings. John's character takes his wife and kids south, on a much needed vacation and the hilarity ensues with one mishap after another. Joey Lawrence plays John Candy's young son and couldn't possibly be any cuter than he was at that particular age. This is definitely one for the DVD collection.Movie Review: Funniest John Candy movie

For me, Summer Rental was always my favorite John Candy movie. I used to watch over and over when I was younger with a few friends, and I still laugh out loud when I sit down and watch this movie. Thank God they put it out on DVD, I used to have som uch trouble finding it on VHS. Pick it up if you like John Candy, it also reminds me of Vacation with Chevy Chase.

My summer's start with Beach Boys music and this movie (yes, I watch it annually), one of John Candy's best. Rip Torn is a hoot and Richard Crenna is not bad either. This movie was so funny, I laughed at things that weren't meant to be laughed at. Yorku, a cook for Scully is so gross hes funny, he can play a mean Casio keyboard.
