Movie Reviews of Streets of FireMovie Review: "It's ONLY Rock 'n' Roll ... but I like it, like it, YES I DO !! " Summary: 5 Stars
So, ok, only a few didn't really dig this movie, the rest of us appreciated for what it really was, its just a "Rock 'n' Roll fable guys !! For God's sake don't take it any more seriously than that, awesome music by (specially)Ry Cooder & Steinman, turn a classic good vs evil story into loud & twisted fairy tale. The bikers get humiliated but keep thier pride. Watch it twice at least !!
Movie Review: Really enjoyed Streets of Fire Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is great. This movie has a "dark" feeling to it. It reminds me of the "50's". It has a great deal of motorcycle stunts, and the music is very good. Again the music reminds me of the "50's also. The movie is not a real serious movie. It is sort of a tongue in cheek movie.
Michael Pare, Diane Lane, and Amy Madigan are good in it.
Movie Review: Should be called Streets ON Fire Summary: 5 Stars
Excellent music and a dynamite cast, this movie is a definite must for movie collectors, music afficianados, and fans of the delicious Diane Lane (most recently seen in Must Love Dogs looking as lovely as always) Action, romance, and the final musical number will have you standing on your couch screaming along with the words!
Movie Review: A Rock-and-Roll Fable... for real! Summary: 5 Stars
Dispite the corny dialogue this comic book movie is a must see... if just for the music or the imagery. Though the setting was this dingy 1950's Rock-and-Roll netherworld this is really a Western... no different than "A Fist Full of Dollars" or "Rio Bravo".
This was great fun not to be missed.
Movie Review: Streets of Fire Summary: 5 Stars
My family and I watched this movie years ago and really enjoyed it. My son mentioned this movie recently and said he would really like to see it again. After looking at local movie rental places and not finding it, I looked on amazon.com and found it. I ordered it and it is still as good as we remembered.
