Movie Review: DIANE LANE shines in STREETS OF FIRE

I loved this film as a teenager and still love it now. It is innocent rock'n'roll comic book stuff that is both stylish and entertaining. The film has notable performances by some actors who later became big stars. DIANE LANE who is now a big star thanks to her lead roles in "The Perfect Storm", "Unfaithful", "Judge Dredd" etc is great as Ellen Aim, and WILLEM DAFOE (SpiderMan) is the bad guy. Great DVD and VHS quality, but I'd go for the DVD if you can.Movie Review: Let's Escape for a While

I cannot remember how long ago it was when I first saw this movie, but it made such an impression, I could/can never forget it. I loved all the songs, and Michael Pare was fantasy come true. I loved Diane Lane as the strong, fiesty, yet sensitive rock n'roll-ete. This movie is good to escape in, especially these days, even if you don't buy, rent it and just get lost. I'm a huge fan of rock 'n' roll, subways, non-graphic (little or no blood) action, neon lights and partying, all of which make up this great movie. Streets Of Fire is by far one of my favorite movies from the 1980's. This is the perfect movie for those who like a lot of action such as gun play, brawls, car chases and cop action with little or no blood and hardly any profanity. I'm quite surprised this movie hasn't yet been released on Blu-Ray!Movie Review: The best movie EVER

Streets of Fire is the best movie ever made. I have literally watched it hundreds of times in my life and I am never sick of it. I will admit, the acting isn't the best, the story isn't super strong, but for some reason everyting comes together in the perfect ways. The bonus features are limited to cast bios and trailer. The movie itself is a great eighties movie. The acting at times is over the top. The dialogue is ridculous. Overall the movie is kinda cheesy. Just like any good eighties movie should be.The main highlight is the music. My personal favorites are Dan Hartman and Fire Inc. If you like this film you should definitely buy the soundtrack.
