My 5th and 6th grade music students LOVED this DVD! It provided a nice mid-semester break from the normal routine of music class and several of the students have asked where they can purchase other Stomp videos. I loved the contrast between the street performances and actual live stage performance.

This DVD gives new meaning to the word "percussion." Having never made a live performance when STOMP was in town due to my hectic work schedule I decided to order the DVD. Certainly no substitute for the real thing but the DVD was highly enjoyable and well produced. Highly recommend!!

This DVD is a collection of works done in variety of backgrounds that displays STOMP percussion skills at its best. They use brooms, garbage cans, pots, pans, and everyday items to make music that makes you want to get up off the couch and dance. I've watched this video many times and I never tire of hearing and seeing the beats these men and women make with common, everyday items. I have used it in my PE class and I have friends who have used it in music/band. You can't find a show of imaginative percussion that is much better than this one. Fun to watch, interesting use of everyday items. As imaginative as it comes. A great way to stimulate a young mind. My grandchildren, 3 and 6 could hardly take their eyes off of the screen.
