I saw these guys LIVE in OZ when they toured several years ago. I was awed then, and always said, I would see them again, if they toured here.
This is the next best thing.
They closed the show in OZ with "the wall" and it opens this DVD.
My favourite part.
How they can swing on ropes and still keep the whole Rhythm going is truly
incredible.
If you seen them Live buy this you wont be disappointed!!

I purchased this video for my Music Appreciation classes while we were studying beats and rhythms. My students loved it. The day after we watched it we went back and recapped all of their favorite moments of the video. Some of the kids have never experienced anything like that and it was a joy to watch their expressions throughout the video presentation. When 'Stomp' played locally last year we couldn't wait to see it, and see it we did! This production is simply great, a unique musical masterpiece of unscaled proportion. The real appreciation of this show comes from the amazing performance of ALL the stars. This disk is awesome! While it is lacking is special features, (the features force you do to a lot of reading instead of showing videos of interviews etc.) the video and sound are incredible. The way that they captured the sound from the stage, pipes, road, basketballs, etc. makes it seem as though you are right there! After seeing STOMP on stage twice while on a recent trip to San Francisco, we couldn't wait to get home to purchase the DVD. We have watched it many times and have encouraged nearly everyone who has walked through our door to view it with us! There is so much energy in this production and we find ourselves beating out rhythms without even thinking about it. We love STOMP!
