Movie Review: There Are More?
Summary: 3 Stars

Title: Stitch The Movie
Rated: G
Producer: Clark Spencer
Time: 1:03

Imagine you are the only one of your kind. You feel alone all the time and the only real family you have is Lilo. Then one day you find an experiment holder and you release experiment 625. You dont feel so alone, still whats wrong? If you like movie that make you laugh this is your kind of movie.

First, I think that the best part of this movie was the comedy. There were parts in this movie where I was laughing hard. If you are a person who liked the first movie you would like this one. Its not as good as the first movie but its still good, in my opinion the original movie is the best, but like I said its still good. Theres a lot of action in this movie and its really funny.

Secondly, I think that the animation was the very good. Stitch looks like he did in the first movie, and Lilo looks like she did in the first movie too. He wasnt lighter than he was in the first movie and Lilo wasnt either. You know how in some movies on the sequels the characters look different, not in this movie! The animation of a cartoon movie is one of the most important part if not the most important. I give this movie two thumbs up.

Thirdly, I think that there is an age restriction for this movie. 1- 12 year olds would like this movie but any higher in age wouldnt. To me, it seems to be in the same maturity level. 13 year olds and older would not be able to enjoy this movie because it would seem to childish for them to enjoy it. Though I believe some adults would because of the humor. The younger children would like the movie better, they would like Stitch because it is something that they have or is what they are imagining now.

This is a really good movie. I would give it a 3 of 4 stars. This is a good movie for younger children or a family with kids to watch together. Youll laugh and youll wonder what will happen next. You also may like the humor in the movie. This is also good for older brothers and sisters to watch together with their younger siblings. Grandparents need to watch this with your grandchildren, youll smile because theyre smiling.

This movie will make you laugh and wonder what its like to be alone. Now you may be thinking, so what happens to the experiments? Will they come to life? What will happen to Lilo and Stitch you can see by watching the Stitch Movie. Heres a shout out to all you kids, spend some time and watch it with your family. Even if you want to or not! Aloha!

Movie Review: Should Have Been So Much More
Summary: 3 Stars

As a major Stitch fanatic who was counting down the days until this film's release, I am so sad to say that I'm disappointed by this sequel. This version lacks many things that made the original movie so enchanting (and worthy of the Academy Award for best animated film, for which it was nominated): gorgeous, hand-drawn watercolor backgrounds, cool music (only one Elvis tune this time), a heartwarming and charming spirit and sense of subversive fun, the ability to make you cry, and the focus on "ohana": the desire to be loved and to find where you belong. I had hoped that this movie would focus on the adventures that Lilo, Stitch, Nani, and the others might be having now that they are a family (going to school, job for Nani, relationship between Nani and David, Stitch's attempts at housekeeping, adjusting to life together, vacations, beach fun, etc --things that were portrayed in all the wonderful snapshots at the end of the first movie). Instead, the film is mostly centered around an excrutiatingly annoying alien named Dr. Hamstervhiel (get it, Hamster Wheel? uh-huh) who abducts Jumba, and the ensuing fight to get Jumba back. Lots of outer space chases, posturing by the villains, etc. One of the biggest disappointments is that, contrary to what the previews suggested, we get to meet only TWO of the other 625 experiments!!! (And the one I was most excited about, which looked like a cute yellow version of Stitch, is an annoying slob with no personality and a grating voice that sounds something like Danny DeVito's! He has not a hint of Stitch's magically naughty charisma). The whole thing has the feel of being just a pilot for the TV series that is going to debut this fall. The one redeeming factor is that Stitch is just as adorable as ever! He desperately wants to be accepted by other people outside his "ohana," but is afraid that others see him as scary or freaky, and that he will never fit in. The few moments that are devoted to his struggles are the best part of the movie, and I only wish that they had stayed with that aspect, rather than ruining things with the same old boring outer space stuff. Hopefully, the series will center more on the family, and focus on some of the experiments that were only briefly mentioned at the very end.

Movie Review: Cute, but a tad disappointing.
Summary: 3 Stars

Plot: The basic plot is that Stitch (aka: Experiment 626) has 625 other "cousins" that Dr. Jumba (Stitch's creator) brought to Earth with him. (They're dehydrated into little balls is how he was able to manage this). It seems that Dr. Jumba had an evil ex-partner (Dr. Hamsterviel) that helped him to create all of these experiments and now Hamsterviel has hired the "retired" Captain Gantu (the giant shark looking guard from the 1st movie). Gantu comes to Earth, kidnaps Jumba, hold him for ransom in order to get the collection of experiments. There's the ransom drop, and somehow all of the little dehydrated balls of experiments get dropped all over Hawaii and it is just a matter of time before each are hydrated and activated becoming the terrors that Stitch was when he first arrived to Earth. There it leaves us at the end with Lilo and Stitch promising to find each experiment before/as they become dehydrated. They have also promised to put each one's unique powers to use so that they can each stay on Earth and Stitch can be around all of his cousins.

Pros: Widescreen. All of the characters are back from the 1st movie, including the boyfriend (David) and Mr. Bubbles. It has more great fun tunes. The DVD features a Trivia Challenge, an Experiment finder (where you "look" in different rooms to find where an experiment may be hiding-and they are always hiding in the same places each time you play), a picture gallery of some of the experiments with a description of each (but not all 625) and a music video that features clips from the movie("Aloha, E Komo Mai").

Cons: Ends at approx. 55 minutes (It says that it is approx 64 min, but they are including the credits and probably the video as well!). There is no Chapter Menu card on the inside, instead you have a poster showcasing some of the experiments. If you like Fullscreen, it seems that it doesn't come that way.

Bottom Line: It's cute and if you are a big Disney or Lilo & Stitch fan, then get it. If not, then pass.

Movie Review: Not as awful as expected...
Summary: 3 Stars

Okay, I'm a HUGE fan of "Lilo & Stitch." I mean it. Stitch toys litter my entire apartment. Given Disney's track record with direct-to-video sequels, this was exactly what I hoped I'd never see done to the beloved first film. But here it is, and, being the ridiculous fan that I am, I couldn't help but check it out. And wouldn'tcha know it? It's okay. And I'm notoriously hard to please! The animation is pretty abysmal, especially compared to the inspired work in the original "Lilo & Stitch," but the writing is halfway decent. The characters are captured pretty nicely (although Nani has disappointingly little to do with the story) and there are actually enough clever visuals and dialogue zingers that I managed to laugh out loud several times. Sometimes "Stitch! The Movie" simply resorts to rehashed moments from "Lilo & Stitch," but at other times, it presents some original gems that actually manage to recapture the zany spirit of the original movie without just repeating it. None of this, by any stretch, is to suggest that "Stitch!" is a great movie (it's essentially just an hour-long set-up for the upcoming TV series), but it's not bad, either. The dismal animation kills a lot of the comedic pacing, but, by and large, the movie is entertaining enough to hold your attention and even amuse you at times (but that's as far as I'd go, since there's nothing even resembling the emotional depth of the first movie). It's definitely geared toward a younger audience, but it's still a worthwhile addition to your video library if you're as big a "Lilo & Stitch" fan as I am!
