Movie Review: finally on dvd

for all of us stephen king fans, its been a long time coming, but IT is finally on dvd! this is the greatest movie of all time that has been based on kings work. I highly recomend you get this dvd. It has a comentary by john ritter (haystack ben hanscomb) and tim reid (mike hanlon) also richard thomas (bill denbrough). its great to listen to some of the stories that they recall while making IT. This movie will scare the heck out of you. Ill never look at another clown the same for the rest of my life! tim curry plays pennywise the dancing clown to a tee.THEY ALL FLOAT DOWN HERE! you have to get this dvd if you are a true fan of stephen king. As pennywise says "dont you want it?!"

if youre burntout on all the same horror dvds u might have forgotten this 1 it has extras not seen in the tv version it to me is much scarier than the shining its about 5teens who fought a clown/demonic force the lived in the sewer in a small town called dairy adults couldnt see it and it went around causing children to vanish when the clown pops up youll jump seeing it on dvd is alot scarier than regular tv the colors of balloons for example stand out with an eerie red and everytime you see 1 youll get chills knowing the clowns nearby this movies long and u have to flip the disc over to continue everybody i know who has seen this agrees it is 1 of the better film versions of a king novel like stand by me and belongs in any king fans collectionMovie Review: THEY ALL 5 Stars
What can i say about this film? Well for a start superb! Yes the acting is hammy, and the ending sucked, however, take that out of the equation and what are u left with? TIM CURRY!!! O yes people of the world, the one man that is a dead cert to have you living in fear of clowns for the rest of your lives. Never again will you want to take your child/children to a circus.Although i must confess, i did enjoy the book far better than the film, but how many of u could actually picture Tim Curry in your heads as Pennywise? Spot on casting.
All that's left 2 say is watch IT b afraid, check below your bed, put the plug in all sinks unless u want a messy bathroom, and remember THEY ALL FLOAT!!!! AND YOU WILL TO!!!!!!!

A TV movie which receives a 5 star rating? I know, I can't believe I'm giving the movie this much stars. In fact, I can.IT proves to be one of King's top notch bestsellers and certainly one of his most chilling works.
'It' is a personification of all the evil that lurks beneath Maine, an evil that only children can see.
The film focuses on a particular group of youngsters of whom 'It' preys on the most. It tells each child's own experience with 'It' and also focuses on their horrific experiences with 'It'. Tim Curry plays the murderous clown with unholy relish. As well as this, the musical score within the movie is enough to scare anyone for months.
I'll say no more; watch the movie...if you dare

3/31/05 IM 12 YEARS OLD I SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN I WAS 7 when i saw this movie I THOUGHT IT WAS SCARY BUT COOL SO I BOUGHT IT I GIVE THIS MOVIE 5 STARS FOR LIKE 3 REASONS TIM CURRY DID A GREAT JOB PLAYING PENNYWISE THE CLOWN i think the acting was very good and the plot was pretty good 7 kids who are outcasts that keep seeing a demon clown that comes out every 30 years to kill and eat children in the town of derry maine in 1960 or 1966 they think they kill it and they all make a vow to come back if it is not dead then 30 years later its back but the part is not most convincing is the ending how IT is really a giant spider well u should buy this dvd it is a great movie hope my reveiw was helpfull
