Movie Reviews of Stargate SG-1 - Season 10Movie Review: Cheesy and Redundant Summary: 5 Stars
But I had to watch it. :-)
I have only purchased two televisions series at the time of this post - Stargate SG-1 and Southpark.
I saw every episode of Stargate-SG1 on television, and watched the DVDs as soon as I got them - It took a few days. I also bought both series movies, as well as the original movie.
I was very disappointed that Anderson left the series, but an occasional guest shot made it a bit easier to take.
I also didn't like the new characters (coming into season nine) at first, but they grew on my after a few episodes.
All in all, I would say that this was my absolute favorite television series of all time. I bitched at the TV every week because they were always doing something stupid, but that was part of the fun of watching this show. :-)
Movie Review: Stargate SG-1 Summary: 5 Stars
Always buy this series, and am sorry that it is, as a weekly show, ending. Therefore it is good to be able to have the last season (I have all the others) as it is one of the best in the field - science fiction - apart from old faithful Star Trek. Always miss Richard Dean Anderson, that wry and handsome wit, but Shanks and Browder, let alone Claudia Black, what a terrific actor! more than make up for his loss. I always wish more of Amanda Tapping's abilities apart from sheer mathematics that she is forced by plot to come out with at least four or five times per episode could be utilized in more interesting directions, but she is the greatest also. Look forward to her in Stargate Atlantis.
Stargate SG-1 season 10 is a worthy product and has been added to my collection with great satisfaction.

Movie Review: Excellent season, but note there is also Stargate SG-1 - The Complete Series Collection Summary: 5 Stars
An excellent season.
However with it arrived a note from MGM :
"Coming soon! The complete Stargate SG-1 Collector's set
All 214 episodes, plus hours of
Never-Before-Released
Special Features
Coming to DVD October 2007".
Amazon is selling it Stargate SG-1 - The Complete Series Collection
- and they list 4 bonus disks, plus other bonuses.
So in conclusion - the season is excellent but I feel "double-dipped". Hopefully MGM will Do the Right thing
(as they've done up to now with all the special features they've added) -
and also package the special features separately, for their faithful viewers who've bought the DVDs as they came out.
Movie Review: EXCELLENT,AS ALL THE SEASONS Summary: 5 Stars
This season was excellent.I thought all 10 of the seasons were greatly written. They were intelligent, story lines are well written, special effects are great, caracters were well developed throughout the seasons. I am anxious to see the upcoming movies. I will miss watching Teal`c on friday nights,as he is my favorite caracter. I am glad that the new movie will close the ori story,as the last episode gave us no closure. I now feel an emptyness as i do after finishing a good book, sad that it will end. I really liked how Merlin was added in as a assended being. This shows that the writters have a great imagination. This show has given me great entertainment, and something to look forward to on friday nights. Well at least we all can look forward to Atlantis.
Movie Review: The end...but not quite Summary: 5 Stars
Yeah, as so many others have said, a great series. While not as "hard" as Babylon 5, and not as gritty as Battlestar Galactica, it did not take itself too seriously, had some *great* fun moments (a few purposefully campy), and told a good story arc all at the same time. Even my gf was hooked by this series (whereas she doesn't share my love for B5 or BSG). Yes, it's a shame it had to end (my gf is pretty unhappy about that!), but really, 10 years is a good run. And the story doesn't end with this DVD collection, as most SG-1 fans know. There are coming two follow-up movies that will wrap up the Ori story arc before SG-1's time is done. Then the stage will be open for other teams to tell their stories (if the producers opt to pursue this, that is).
