Movie Reviews of Star Wars - Clone Wars, Vol. 1

Movie Review: Great series!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've loved Star Wars since I don't know how long, and after I saw Episode II, I knew I couldn't wait until the final instalment. So thankfully, the guys at Cartoon Network gave us junkies something amazing to tide us over. This microseries bridges the gap between episodes II and III, and fans who have only seen the films will learn a great deal more about several characters from the films should they choose to watch these.
In Volume 1, fans get to know the brave Clone Troopers of the Old Republic a great deal more than in Episode II. Several planets are visited, and the Clone Wars are fought on several fronts. On land, sea and in the skies. Anakin goes off on a solo adventure to stop Count Dooku's newest lacky, Asajj Ventrece.(Or however you spell her last name.) But he is playing directly into the hands of Darth Sidious.
So pick this one up. Its a great series and alot of hard work was put into it.

Movie Review: better than the movies
Summary: 5 Stars

As I'm sure most reviews of clone wars make clear, these are better than the prequel films. More action, less standing around discussing politics and forbidden love, and stories that don't grind to a halt every 20 minutes.

These are amazing. It's hard to call them cartoons. It will haunt me forever that the attack on Coruscant in vol. 2 wasn't in Episode III.

These are must haves for any fan.

Movie Review: Las Guerras clonicas animadas
Summary: 5 Stars

Movie Review: Meh
Summary: 3 Stars

This series was okay, but, as other people have stated, it's just a giant action sequence.

I'm the kind of nerd who makes himself a fan of 1 specific character and I chose General Grievous as soon as I learned about him on some rumor forums.

This cartoon is the only place where you can enjoy General Grievous. He's totally gimped in the movie, but watching him mow down Jedi in the cartoon makes me giggle.

Other than the parts with Grievous in them, the series is nigh-unwatchable. If you like the creator's artwork, go buy Samurai Jack.

Movie Review: Begun, the clone war has.
Summary: 5 Stars

This emmy award winning series picks up right where Attack of the Clones left off. In the course of one hour, audiences will have battle after battle thrown at them. There is small character development, nothing compared to what we get in Vol. 2 but there is some. Mostly this is one big action movie portraying many different battles during the clone wars. I found this whole volume to be very enjoyable. The animation style used is very captivating and never grows old because it is so rich in detail. The bonus features on this dvd are very nice to say the least, trailers, a making of, and a playable xbox demo for Republic Commando. If you are a fan of Star Wars I strongly recommend this dvd for you along with Vol. 2 (which you can check out my review for) Both dvds together complete the story between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Thanks for reading.
