Movie Review: Couldn't be happier

I can't believe how much I'm enjoying this. I've always been a huge fan of all the Star Trek series (and movies) but Voyager was definitely my favorite. Still, I never imagined I'd want to own any of the actual television shows on DVD. But as time has passed since Voyager ended, and I've yet to see it in syndication here in Pittsburgh, I began debating buying this set. It was one of the best decisions I've made this year! I was going to try and save a few dollars by purchasing the seasons individually on Ebay, but between all the warnings about bootleg copies and cheap Asian imports, I grew wary and decided to buy the whole set from Amazon. (And you do save nicely here when buying the entire set.)
I admit the packaging could've been sturdier, but I still think it's attractive and colorful and protects the discs well if you're careful. It looks better in person. As of Stardate 200504.03 I'm on the second disc of Season 4 and I have yet to find a single defect in any of the episodes. The episode menus are simple yet Trekky, and the picture and sound are absolutely first rate. (And thank God, fullscreen!)
I think what surprises me most is, before getting this set I THOUGHT I remembered the first couple seasons as being lesser quality (or not as interesting) as the show became around the fourth season. I couldn't have been more wrong, what was I thinking?! (Well, except for those two hokey 'Q' episodes...)
