Movie Review: Remake of the 3 Stars
Johnny Cash is the Marshal taking in his prisoner Kris Kristofferson (playing the John Wayne part), Waylon Jennings as the gambler rides along with Willie Nelson as Doc Holliday (there was a physician in the original but not a gun fighting dentisit) and a couple of female roles in this redo of the John Ford classic stagecoach journey through indian territory. Mr Ford has not to worry. Fine to watch this gagle of county western stars walk through a familiar story line. Nothing new.Movie Review: a surprise..and a seredipity

I bought this to see the last film appearance of Lash LaRue...very short scene and about 2 lines. But, still Lash has that way about him. The movie itself was pretty good...surprise.The Kris/Willie/Waylon/Johnny crew made an album where they all dressed in black and featured the original Man in Black, Lash LaRue , on a great , back of the album picture.Movie Review: Review of Stagecoach

I felt the acting in the original Stagecoach was much better. In the new version the actors were not beliviable, more like a first time acting role.
I would not recommend buy it.
