Movie Reviews of SpidersMovie Review: This movie is the best movie that I have ever seen!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best movie that I have ever seen. It completely changed my life. I was two minutes away from committing suicide when I saw the beginning, and decided to watch it. It totally changed my life. I am now ever so happy to be alive. It gave me a whole new lease on life. I have never been so happy to be alive in my life. Special thanks to everybody that had anything to do with the creation of this movie. I love you all.
Movie Review: This Movie Amazed Me!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this movie on DVD used at a pawnshop in Canada Ontario called The Beat Goes On. I thought it would (be bad) but bought it anyway. I LOVED IT. Gary Jones did an exelent job on this. It was an improvement from his other movie called Mosquito which was bad. The special effects were great. I enjoyed watching the making. The spider looks so real. Great movie. It's one to buy on DVD.
Movie Review: Giant Spiders and conspiracies Summary: 4 Stars
A very well thought out bugfest. While the title creatures are the original reason for watching this one, there is far more to the plot than rampaging arachnids.A college newspaper reporter is convinced that aliens exist and that the government has been hiding the fact. But when she heads to a secret government facility that is supposedly abandoned, she finds far more than she was expecting. First off, a shuttle that supposedly burned up on re-entry lands at the base. The crew are dead in horrendous ways. Then the Men in Black show up. They are obviously cruel and cold-blooded. Trying to avoid discovery, she and her friends hide in a truck and find themselves far underground beneath the facility. There they discover aliens, Apollo missions that were never reported, and a project to mix alien DNA with that of spiders. Then things get really tense. Fun, fast and with some true jump-out-of-your-0seat moments, this is an above average monster flick with excellent effects and a solid storyline.
Movie Review: ...And The Spiders From Mars... Summary: 4 Stars
SPIDERS concerns a mysterious government project called MOTHER-IN-LAW, which has a scientist inject an experimental serum into a tarantula- while in orbit aboard the space shuttle! Uh-Oh! The serum has caused the hairy arachnid to enlarge and go berserk! Back on Earth, a UFO investigator (Lana Parrilla) and her team stumble upon a secret government facility in the desert. Amazingly, this is where the aforementioned spacecraft crash-lands! Thus begins the mutant spider invasion! SPIDERS is a wonderfully cheeezy monster movie w/ decent creatures and their human prey. Ms. Parrilla is very good in her role, evolving from geek to warrior in due course. Add this one to your Big Bug collection...
Movie Review: A Very enjoyable B-Grade Movie Summary: 4 Stars
When I bought this movie, I had low expectations. But once I saw it, it amazed me. It exceeded all my expectations and I had a fun time watching it. The spider (even though it says Spiders, there is only one), grows from a small, creepy arachnid into a giant two storey beast. The final rampage was fantastic even though you could tell the spider isn't there when the cgi was used. But my favorite size would have to be the 6 foot tall one. It munched on many victims and even a good use of blood is in here too. Perfect for a Friday/Saturday Night with a few mates. Give it a shot.
