Movie Reviews of Spice World

Movie Review: For Spice Fans Only
Summary: 5 Stars

I will grant that this movie will never be counted among the greatest films ever shot. However, for a spice girls fan, it is a must. It shows the spice girls before the break up, at the peak of their power. They still seem to have the feeling of unity. Granted, the acting is what you would expect from a bunch of singers, but what did anyone expect? Anyone who feels the need to slam this movie would have to go after "A Hard Day's Night" and even Pink Floyd's The Wall as mere ego boosting movies by bands who couldn't create a "real movie". Either way, if you don't like it, tough. Spice Fans will know how good this is.

Movie Review: im your mother now and i dont mean superior!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you never liked the Spice Girls then don't watch this movie. You would think that would be obvious but apparently I overestimate the intelligence of the reviewers here.

But honestly, this movie is hilarious. It's just so ridiculous and my friends and I still quote it sometimes. It is cheesy, it is low budget, and it is more like a parody with not much of a plot. But that's what makes it funny. You need a sense of humor to enjoy this movie. Something that the other reviewers here clearly do not have.

"Please do not leave moisturizer in the refrigerator as it can be mistaken for mayonnaise, that is all."

Movie Review: add Spice to your life!
Summary: 5 Stars

The Spice Girls (the original group, back when Ginger was still a Spice Girl) at their very best!!

The is a great, whacky, humorously campy look at the Spice Girls; a self-satire. The girls poke fun at themselves and the whole world of pop music!

It's the Spice Girls first big concert. The girls are nervous enough as it is, without having to deal with the pitfalls of the music world; a newspaper editor who hates them; a photographer who appears from out of nowhere; and a slave-driver of a manager.
Will the Spice Girls first show be a success? will they break up?
A comedy full of fun, music and Spice

Movie Review: So random that you can't not love it.
Summary: 5 Stars

The Spice Girls. There's five of them. They're singers.
I love it. Granted there's no real story or plot throughout the movie (maybe with the exception of getting to Albert Hall on time), this movie is just one that doesn't seem to need a plot.
You'll more than likely laugh at the dumb jokes or how the girls act... I did. Plus, there's always the music. And if the English audio isn't funny enough for you, the French audio will make you giggle.
It's fun to watch when you're bored or if you're just hanging out with friends. I've used this movie to convert many people in to Spice Fans!

Movie Review: A blast!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is a blast - true, it helps to be a fan of the Spice Girls, but then again if you're not why would you be watching this film in the first place? The music is top-notch (although I'm still wondering why their cover of "Leader Of The Gang" seen in the film remains unreleased), and the acting is well done (in a sort of inexperienced Beatles / A Hard Day's Night sort of way). No, it's not an Oscar contender, but is is fun. As a former fan of the group (I gave up when Geri Halliwell left - she was my favorite) I recommend Spice World to anyone who wants to have a good time. It's fun!
