Movie Review: A Possible Future???
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a rather scary look at what could be a possible future if things continue the way they are heading. Our food supplies becoming more depleted due to unfavorable growing conditions, climatic extremes, lack of water and nutrient-poor land as well as overpopulation continuing at an uncontrollable and alarming rate. This type of recycling may become a necessity. Hopefully, it would at least be voluntary as the movie depicts. An eye-opener for sure.Movie Review: Classic Sci Fi

If you are a fan of 50s, 60s and 70s SciFi, this is a great movie. Even though it's a bit dated, some of the issues (over population, global warming, polution, etc.) are very much a part of today's environment. Very thought provoking story line and reasonably good acting contribute to the movie's enjoyment. The DVD's picture quality is good and views well. I JUST LOVED THIS MOVIE.I CAN REMEMBER SITTING IN THE MOVIE THEATER WATCHING THIS MOVIE OVER AND OVER.HESTON STEALS THE SHOW .THIS WAS EDWARD G. ROBINSONS LAST MOVIE.THE TWO MAIN STARS WORKED WELL TOGETHER.AND THE STORY IS JUST FANTASTIC.ITS SO GOOD ,THE MOVIE IS BEING RE-RELEASED AGAIN WITH FORBIDDEN PLANET,WHICH WAS A CHILDHOOD FAVORITE OF MINE. This movie came out the same year that the Supreme Court gave us abortion on demand via Roe v. Wade. How ironic is that? We are living in these days to a certain degree already. This film is disturbing on many levels because of it's impending reality. I highly recommend it as a wake up call.Movie Review: Great!!

This movie was just as enjoyable to watch as it was all those years ago when it first came out. Charlton Heston as a young man was great to see again. The story line may have been futuristic when it was first told, but it makes one wonder about our future!
