It really shows family and the makeup of all families...the good, bad, and the ugly. It also provides me with insight into what our elders left us and how we deal with the future. Nothing like those who raised us. God bless our grandparents and relatives who gave us stability and the love that we all needed and made us strong. I loved this movie,mainly because it reminded me of my family. This movie mimicked my family so much, even with the mother's ilness. My mother passed away to from complications from diabetes. I love this movie! The cast is phenomenal. The writing is exceptional. And the plot is very moving. The theme of the movie is all about the family staying together through thick and thin. This is one of my absolute favorites!
