Movie Review: STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL YVONNE DE CARLO
Summary: 5 Stars
Canadian born YVONNE DE CARLO[1922-2007]was not just beautiful,she was stunningly so,with slightly exotic looks.
SONG OF SCHEHERAZADE[SEDUCAO],filmed in glorious Technicolor,1947,stars YDC as a fiery dancer named Cara de Talavera,
and she inspires the great melodies of the composer Rimsky-Korsakoff[Aumont],who is a naval cadet,when the Russian fleet
docks in Morocco[N.Africa]. Also with Brian Donlevy,Jean-Pierre Aumont,the lovely Eve Arden,Philip Reed,Charles Kullman,
Terry Kilburn,Elena Verdugo.
This print[dvd]is shown in pristine colourful condition. This Brazilian release[Portugese writing on cover]will play in
English without subtitles.
Being a fan of the late beautiful YVONNE DE CARLO i came across this dvd on the American Amazon web site,but not[as yet]on
the U.K. Amazon web site,as i am English and live in the United Kingdom. But i just wanted to add my review of this excellent
