Movie Reviews of Sometimes in AprilMovie Review: Sometimes in April Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was very powerful. It dealt with the Rwandan genocide in the mid 1990's and how the systematicly killed hundreds of thousands of people in about 30 days. The story was very well told without being overly graphic.
Movie Review: the truth hits the heart Summary: 5 Stars
This movie really brings out the harsh reality of the Rwandan genocide from the inner perspective of the oppressed. Not for young audiences but a must see for older teens unexposed to the global crises.
Movie Review: Amazing movie about the Rwandan genocide Summary: 5 Stars
Hotel Rwanda is the movie we all know about but this one is well worth watching if you have any interest in Rwanda or genocide and its devastating impact on lives.
Movie Review: Brilliant Summary: 5 Stars
A great strength of Sometimes in April as opposed to Hotel Rwanda is that it gives so much more context and information about what happened. Highly recommended.
Movie Review: What can I say Summary: 5 Stars
You watch this and you cry. Such inhumanity seems impossible. One has to believe in a "higher power," one has to hope...in order to survive.
