I bought this classic comedy for my wife because I managed to ween her off videos and into DVDs. It is one of the most funny movies to come out of Hollywood and includes three mega stars; Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe. Classic old comedy film in the late 1950's by Billy Wilder starring Marilyn Monroe taking on cross-dressing & gender roles when such things weren't really done. They probably got away with it because it was so funny & because of the film's fast pace. It holds up very well today & is still considered one of the great comedy films of all time. This movies is so funny!!! I love it SO much!! RIP Tony Curtis, who died last year. This really is a classic and Marilyn is awesome in it!! So is Tony. Despiye his comments about her bad kissing after the film was released, I thought theyr worked really well together. This is definetly a must have. This is another flick my wife forced me to buy. She didn't have to force me to watch it though. Once I saw Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon pretending to be women, I couldn't stop laughing. Of course, Marilyn Monroe is a delight as always. I highly recommend this movie with lots of popcorn.Movie Review: The greatest movie of all time!!!
