Anson Dorrance is the most successful coach in the history of soccer. In 1991 he led the US national team to victory in the inaugural Women`s World Cup. His teams at the University of North Carolina have won 14 of 16 NCAA Women`s National Championships and his collegiate record stands at 417-16-11.In Training Championship Players and Teams, Coach Dorrance explains and demonstrates the entire North Carolina System, using training sessions involving some of America`s best female players, including Robin Confer, Tracy Noonan Ducar, Lorrie Fair, Debbie Keller, Cindy Parlow, Tiffany Roberts, and Staci Wilson, with footage from some of UNC`s NCAA Championship games and superb graphics to illustrate the coaching points and tactics.
