Movie Reviews of Snow DogsMovie Review: First Seen On Amtrak Summary: 5 Stars
Snow Dogs is a cool (No pun intended), fun, fur-flying movie, I first watched it last summer (2002) when I was 12, onboard the Amtrak Coast Starlight, in the theater car (the bottom of Pacific Parlour car converted into mini theater). I was really happy, my first Amtrak ride, with a movie Ive wanted to see. I will always remember it and every time I see the movie it reminds me of my trip. Snow Dogs is now my favorite movie, I recommend you buy this movie, youll be glad you did.
Thank you,
Jéan-Michael Noe
Take Care, Take Amtrak.

Movie Review: GREAT Movie; Even Funnier "Extras" on the DVD Summary: 5 Stars
Loved the movie. Had been waiting for someone to take Gary Paulsen's incredible book WINTERDANCE: THE FINE MADNESS OF RUNNING THE IDITAROD and make it into a movie. And IF you have seen the movie and not read the book...go read the book. It stands alone from the movie. Both the movie and the book will make you laugh and cry and laugh some more. When Gary's dogs hit the "third" (or was it the fourth?) skunk on a training run, I almost fell out of my chair laughing. And you'll do the same thing in the movie.
Movie Review: Movie Reviewers Cannot Be Trusted Summary: 5 Stars
When Snow Dogs began playing in theaters here, I read the review in our local paper, The News & Observer. The reviewer panned the movie, giving it a "zero stars" rating. I am so glad my seven-year old daughter convinced me to take her to see it anyway because it is one of the best movies I've seen in years. It has everything - humor, beautiful scenery, romance and a good story with no bad language or sexual content. (Well, unless you count dogs winking at each other!)
Movie Review: very entertaining Summary: 5 Stars
I don't expect anything more of a movie than to enjoy it and be entertained. I don't seek to psychoanalyze or offer up in-depth critique, it's only a movie. I either enjoy it or I don't. The dogs (and Koda the fabulous bear) are what makes this a 5-star. Well, the critters and Coburn, he's just a fantastic character. You just can't help but be entertained. It's like a comedic version of Iron Will, an excellent sled dog movie.
