Movie Review: A Good Comfort Movie
Summary: 5 Stars
Whenever I'm a little down, all I have to do is pop in this movie. I rented the movie expecting a cheesy movie about talking dogs. What I got was a more sophisticated Disney movie about a man, played by Cuba Gooding Jr., trying to find his place in the world when he discovers that he was adopted. When he recieves the will of his real mother, he travels to Alaska to sort everything out, and hopefully discover something that he has been missing out on. Something that maybe he was meant to do with his life. What he gets is a group of sled dogs. Gooding did such a wonderful job with this movie, and James Coburn, who plays The Mean Guy Who Doesn't Like Anybody, is really funny. Do not get this movie if you are expecting the dogs to talk. They only talk in a dream sequence. This movie isn't really about the dogs anyway. It doesn't detract from this movie at all, though. This is a wonderful movie, with some very funny scenes and one-liners. You won't be disappointed.Movie Review: Humorous, funny!

Want a movie that is fun for the entire family? Then this is the movie for you, your family, your friends, etc. I laughed so hard during some of the scenes that I could hardly breath! Cuba Gooding, Jr. is fantastic in this movie as well as the entire cast! And yes, that is Lt. O'Hura playing Cuba's "mother" in the film. My family and I saw this 2 times in the theater and enjoyed it so much that when it came out on DVD we just had to have it.I did see one reviewer on here that stated the movie made fun of Canadians. It didn't, honest! It's just a good, wholesome, funny movie that the entire family will enjoy watching again and again! And folks, it is just that.....a movie for the audience to enjoy! That's it, no hidden message, etc.
If you're looking to buy a movie for children or a family, this would definately be a good movie to purchase! Enjoy!!
Movie Review: Snow Dogs
Summary: 5 Stars
When Miami dentist Ted Brooks learns that his birth mother has passed away and that he was named in her will, he travels to Alaska to claim his inheritance. Rather than the large chunk of change that many people would expect, Ted instead receives his mother's pack of rowdy sled dogs and her property. Although the dogs seemingly have it in for Ted, he decides to keep the dogs and race them in the local race, the Arctic Challenge, spiting a mountain man who wants the dogs. What follows is a comedy detailing Ted's adventures in learning to run the sled dogs. This is a fun family type movie. The dogs pretty much steal the show, with their sometimes human like facial expressions and obvious smarts. I think everyone will enjoy it.

getting to the movie, First, a Miami dentist's (Gooding, Jr.)
life was going perfect... Now, he is staing face-to-face with
the life he could have, A dog-trainer in Alaska! First, he fails
terribly. Next, He becomes very successful. He is also at
Alaska to find his real father...knowing he's addopted. Overall,
This is a great (Not to mention, an adorable fun movie) that
is suitable for everyone. You have got to get this movie.

Movie Review: Great movie!

I first saw Cuba Gooding Jr. in 'Men of Honor' and thought him to be a great actor...very feeling and empathatic. He only proves to be a very versatile and talented actor in this movie, quite different than 'End Game' and movie previously mentioned. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to anyone wanting to be entertained versus educated....not a bad thing. I have watched it over and over at least a half-dozen times and I still enjoy it. Oh, did I mention I watch it with my Siberian Husky...Shiloh? Very good movie, great transaction and timely delivery.
