Movie Reviews of Smiley's PeopleMovie Review: Alec Guinness the Spy Summary: 5 Stars
Have always liked the Smiley Spy Movies.
Alec Guiness has an excellent speaking voice and you can understand him very well on these DVD's. Desided to get Smiley's People and Tinker, Tailer, Solider, Spy sets. Still love them, no matter how old.
Movie Review: Very, Verry Good! But not as good as "Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy. Summary: 5 Stars
I liked both "Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy" and "Smiley's People." I give, however, a slight edge to "Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy." They are both worth watching again and again. It seems that you see something new at each viewing.
Movie Review: Most Enjoyable Summary: 5 Stars
I would catch bits of this on TV, but had never seen Smiley's People from beginning to end. I was finally able to purchase and watch this show and was not disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys good drama.
Movie Review: the impassive vicar Summary: 5 Stars
"...tell Max it's about the Sandman". Tracing back the steps of Vladimir and Otto, the moves of Kirov and Gregoriev, Smiley not only unravels the 'Karla conundrum' but accomplishes what it seemed an impossible task.
Movie Review: Story telling just doesn't get any better than this Summary: 5 Stars
This is a beautiful production. As a fan of the book, this series doesn't disappoint. And, in particular, watching Smiley come to life through Alec Guinness' portrayal is nothing but pure pleasure to experience.
