Movie Review: This was great buy.

This was and still is a great movie it's timeless. In fact the first time I seen the film was when I was a teenager and now I showing it to my soon to be teenage son.This is a great film and it show a person that there's a diffrent way of living no matter your enviorment. After seeing Slam, I couldn't get no sleep until I call my best friend to check if he was doing fine, if he still had dreams and passions , if he was not discouraged, if he still have faith to achieve what he had dreamed of. It was a piece of reality well exposed with all the emotions and fears...It seems so real to me that , for a while, I had the feeling to be a witness instead of just watching a moovie....Movie Review: unknown

This movie was great. I saw it for the first time awhile ago and I was highly impressed. Never hearing of Saul Williams this movie introduced me to him and I got a taste of how he does things. The poetry and/or rap verses in the film are great. This movie also has a great storyline.If you havent seen the movie yet, see it.If you havent bought the movie yet, buy it.peace n luv~Rika

i love this movie.. the acting in it, isnt really acting to me, the movie has the feel of a documentary, saul williams is absolutely brilliant in this.. playing the part of a drug dealer/poet. Also the music in this is one of the best soundtracks ive ever heard.. check this movie out if your into poetry, the hip hop lifestyle.. or if your just into movies.. this ones a gemMovie Review: Makes you think

Short and simple...Mind Nourishing. Unlike any film I've ever seen. The poetic verses spat during key points within the film was inspiring. Saul Williams broke the last piece of the mold in his portrayal of a small time dealer/verbal phenom. This movie, for me set in motion the content of my own writings. If you love verbal art get this DVD. You will not be dissappointed.
