Movie Review: A New Addition to My List of Favorites
Summary: 5 Stars
First, the technical aspects. This film was shot in High-Definition and seems to have a higher frame rate than most movies on DVD. That took some adjusting because I was so used to the "flicker effect" on pans, but overall it makes the whole story more realistic, like you're actually watching it happen in real life. Very clear video. The clearest I've seen yet, even on a standard definition television. Having seen the synergy of Treat Williams and Jonathan Jackson in _Deep_End_of_the_Ocean_, it seemed to carry through to _Skeletons_in_the_Closet_. And after seeing Jonathan play the "troubled teen" in three other films, not to mention General Hospital from time to time, I wasn't surprised that he could pull off such a great performance here. His character is the type I enjoy liking -- the type who if the character were real, I'd would easily be friends. He seems likable enough...but then, you never really know anybody.
