Movie Review: My 2-yr old loves it
Summary: 5 Stars
My two-year old loves this DVD, and actually does sing (and dance) along with it...she's been singing "You Can Fly" and other songs, and loves to watch the dancers in "Step in Time." This DVD offers a good variety of music, including the lovely "Beautiful Briny Sea" and the multi-culturally-flavored "I've Got No Strings." The only song I can't stand, and my daughter isn't interested in, is "When I See an Elephant Fly." The use of old southern-U.S. stereotypes and sub-par grammar grates on me, and the song in itself is annoying -- when it comes on my daughter tunes out, then rejoins the fun when it's over. Outside of that, it's been a hit.
