Movie Review: GREAT Movie

Never hearing of this movie I came across it in a four movie DVD christmas collection. I must say of the four movies included on the DVD this one was "TOP NOTCH". I throughly enjoyed it. This movie has everything going for it. All the characters portraid there roles very well. Please hollywood keep coming out with movies like this. Free from vulgor and sensualtiy. This is a true event that really took place during WW11, in a small cabin, right by German front lines and not far from an American platoon, that had lost 3 of its members! This is certainly a classic--one to be watched again and again, especially during the Christmas season. Silent Night, which is based on a true story, is fast paced, entertaining and inspiring. A great movie for the whole family (as long as parents review it first because of the violence of war ).

This movie had suspense, unsuspected twists and turns, engaged the viewer emotionally, and a powerful message. I've watched it a number of times (I normally do not watch movies more than once), and recommend it to my friends.

This has to be one of my favorite movies, not only at Christmas time, but I can watch it year round. The acting is absolutely great, the story line is wonderful, the Americans and Germans put their differences aside on Christmas Eve for the sake of this brave mother and her son. THE BEST !!!
