Movie Reviews of Silent Hill (Widescreen Edition)

Movie Review: Considering this is not out yet
Summary: 4 Stars

Considering that this movie is not out yet, I wont go so far as giving it five stars (I will probably change my opinion when I go and see it, as I explain onward). Thus from what I've seen, the trailers and reading summeries and all, I think that this movie does have the main character correct...the main character being Silent Hill, the city/the hell. Yes it doesn't have Hary Mason, though it does have close to the same storyline as the first game...from what I've observed so far, it also takes a bit of the other two games (I wont go so far as adding the fourth game as I really didn't like it myself, but that's just me). Silent Hill is the main character, and the hell that it works upon those who come into its lair is the prize for the movie watcher. Silent Hill is filled with shadows, blood, and ancient mysteries better left hidden as the cliche goes. Silent Hill is what you come to see the movie for, Silent Hill is what you play the game for, at least for me. One character comes and another one goes, but the darkness that is SH is what brings me back to the game. I am not myself so worried about having every specific character from the game, I am just hoping and praying (a strange thing to be doing toward SH anyway) that the producers/the writers/the directors/and the actors compliment the TOWN and the TOWN in turn complimenting them. I hope and pray, again I say, that this will not be a repeat of the first House of the Dead (a really, aweful, foolish movie). If everyone making this film makes the TOWN of Silent Hill correct, as it burns into your mind's eyes as you play the games and as you see the movie, then I will be happy!
