Movie Review: great funny movie

not sure which one i like better, short circut 1 or 2, but both are funny. its bout this war robot who gets struck with lightning causin him to "malfunction" and gains human personality traits. he goes on wacky adventures in search of "input" (aka information) and hes also running from his creators Nova in the first movie. this second movie, we see his other creator pedeling small mini johnny 5 robots in NYC and one runs off and a toy developer finds one and wants one....so he gets drafted to make a ton, and trys but fails so asks his friends (the family of johnny 5)sends him to help and ends up goin on wacky adventures and input and foils a elaborate diamond hist scheme after helpingMovie Review: Represent!!

Short Circuit 2 is a hollywood triumph. The first one was good, but this is one of the rarities in the world of sequels that is not just as good as the original, it's better! It's got everything that every other sequel should;He comes to New York and starts building miniature models of himself.
Helps his friend/creator guy with his love life by controlling an electronic sign.
Accidentally helps jewel thieves tunnel into a bank.
And is the first hang-gliding robot in movie history.
What's not to like? There will never ever be a movie quite like Short Circuit 2. It's funny, dramatic, action-packed (complete with car chase), and of course, heartwarming...

I love this movie and I watch it at least once a week. This Movie is next best to owning Johnny 5. I wish I could own J-5, but do not have the Big Bucks to by him even if he is real. The only thing wrong with this movie is some of the bad language, so I just fast forward some of the scences. I wish they would make more movies using Johnny 5, I would like to see Ben & Sandy get married and J-5 as the Best Man. My Husband & I rent DVD's and have kept this Movie since Oct., so I thought I better buy it, so I can return the rental to get to watch other DVD's. Great Movie that could be even better without the bad language...Movie Review: Johnny 5 Is Indeed Still Alive!

THIS MOVIE IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVS!
I was bought up watching this and the original and I never repeated any of the language in the movie, if any language at all there's very little swearing after all it is PG13...
It's one of the greatest sequels of all time, having a good story and casting whilst also keeping in touch with the originals heart warming moments and humour.
This movie shouldn't be watched to be judged like some of the other reviewers have...it's there to be watched and enjoyed by the whole family big or small.

This is a wonderful film! I think this one is even better than the first one. It's one of those that we can watch again and again. You might want to buy both and make it a night of Short Circuit fun.
