I am a second grade teacher and I have used this DVD for the past five years as a supplement to my Tall Tales Unit. My seven and eight year old students absolutely love this DVD. Adults will recognize the all star cast. Students enjoy the exaggerated costumes,colorful sets, and the action scenes. This would make a wonderful birthday present for a child, especially if it came with a book about Pecos Bill. I highly recommend this DVD.

Steve Guttenberg (Three Men and a Baby) portrays Pecos Bill, the "King of the Cowboys," in this rootin? tootin? epic. Raised by coyotes, Bill puts the "wild" in the Wild West settlement of Petunia City. When his rowdy behavior gets him run out of town, he heads for Mexico. There, Bill lassoes a cyclone to save the state of Texas from drought. His heroics become campfire legend, proving that selflessness and bravery are never forgotten.
