Movie Review: very smart drama...spike did his thing....

spike lee is one of my all time favourite directors because he is so unusual with his films.... he tries to try his hand on different topics in life....
anthony mackie (8 mile) is just excellent in this film....the depth of all the characters really make you think about life and its consequences.... kerry washington (save the last dance) makes a great turn in this movie.... paula jai parker (the proud family & sprung) and rapper Q-tip make outstanding cameos in this movie
SHE HATE ME is kind of complicated just because you know spike and his flashbacks and crazy turns but "she hate me" is a great drama-comedy and anyone would get into it...

Movie Review: She Hates Him, I Love It, word keeps on spinning

This movie was surprisingly entertaining. The film had a few good laughs sprinkled throughout, and there was even an attempt to teach the audience a moral. I'm a fan of Spike Lee, and that alone was enough to get me to buy the movie. Yet, with Spike's great creativity you also experience Spike's personal biases and opinions. To keep from spoiling the plot for those of you who havent watched it yet, I'll just simply say the ending wasnt as realistic as one would expect it to be. Also, this is definitely not a movie for kids. With that said I would advise any adults with an open mind and an equally liberal sense of humor to check out the film.Movie Review: Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover

The movie started off quite slow making you wonder "Where is this going?" Hang in there and when Spike Lee finally gets to the Crux of the matter the movie Smokes! The issue raised is provacative and the out come surprising. Where did Spike ever get this script! Very well worth the time viewing. I suggested it to everyone I know. I found out about it, because someone said that I HAD to see it.. so I watched it and had to buy it immediately. This film depicted a situation that was quite radical; but given the appropriate circumstances, the results were incredible. The moral of the story may be different for different people, but I got it. This DVD is a permanent addition to my collection. For the right crowd (no children), it's a great "video party" movie.
